Hockey Week Across America begins next Monday, Feb. 28, and runs through March 6. The week-long celebration includes a special theme for each day, including fan-favorite Wear Your Favorite Hockey Jersey Day on March 4.

On March 5, as part of Try Hockey for Free Day, USA Hockey will stage its second national Try Hockey for Free Day of the season, providing kids who have never had a chance to try the sport to do so without cost. Families can find a location hosting a Try Hockey for Free event near them by visiting the re-designed TryHockeyForFree.com.

Started in 2008 by USA Hockey, Hockey Week Across America is an effort to celebrate the game and those involved at all levels, and also introduce the sport to new audiences.
