February 21 | Stick Salute Day

#StickSalute

We raise our sticks as the ultimate salute in our sport. So many hockey heroes go unnoticed throughout hockey: parents, coaches, families and friends.

Maybe your local volunteer Zam driver, or your town’s legendary coach has had a tremendous impact on your life. This is your chance to let them know how special they are to you, by tagging @usahockey in your stick salute.

USA Hockey will be celebrating with stick salutes of our own coaches, officials, volunteers and local hockey heroes who make our organization so special.

Daily Challenge

Post your own stick salute to a personal hockey hero.

Use your social media channels to give some recognition to someone who's impacted your hockey journey by recording a short video message, posting a photo or simply sharing a quick story about them.

Feature Stories

Learn about some unfamiliar, but extremely deserving, hockey heroes in the list of features below. Make sure to give them some props by sharing your favorite story on your social media channels.
